Maria Costa is an actress / comedian that has worked as Valerie on ABC’s ‘Ugly Betty’, in a Bacardi Commercial with Andy Garcia, As Chano Pozo’s Mother in ‘Rumbero’, ‘Joan of Arcadia’ On CBS, ‘Strong Medicine’ on Lifetime, ‘Dangerous Minds’ on ABC and was a guest in the ‘Donnie and Marie’ show. Maria is the first Latina to have a solo show at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles, with Macho Men and the Women Who Love Them.
Maria kindly accepted the invitation to talk about her career for its beginning to the present and to share her secret recipe to be a successful Latina in show business. Maria also talks about wearing different hats as a writer, producer, actress and comedian. She concludes the interview sharing news about the international release on DVD of her show Macho men and the Women who loves them.
